Dave is a very prolific & gifted singer/songwriter who has an unexplained 'cosmic connection' which few artists are blessed with. He 'hears' most of his songs in complete arrangement before laying them down, but is also a skilled 'on demand' writer.

He writes and performs in many styles/genres (usually rock/pop based) and is rarely self-referential but definitely puts a unique stamp on his material with his arrangements, hooks, and powerful vocals. His tongue is sharp, wit creative, and social conscience evident. Dave's songs range from rock to ballads to nods to decades past, and some nutty Zappa-ness in between.

Dave started 'hearing' his original songs by age 7 and gave them life as soon as he learned to play guitar. Blessed with a powerful voice, he was in bands in school and grew up to be a professional musician, adding keyboards to his instrumental repertoire.

His most successful band venture was with Bullett, in Boulder, Colorado, which was a guitar-based rock and blues band which Dave fronted and wrote for. They did a lot of studio work and cut singles and demos for major labels.

Dave is now out on his own, on an indie label, and either plays or programs all the instruments (plus has special guest performers). He has enjoyed international radio play, both internet and terrestrial. He is also the staff producer/arranger/programmer and session musician at a local studio.

He has 3-4 albums in the can, plus many more works in progress. His next CD, SmallSongs II, will be out very soon.

When Dave has time to relax, he prefers to find American football on the TV or fish in the local pond.
